MAY (2002) - ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆

Very mixed feelings on this..I do love the main character a lot. As an autistic
person I related a lot to her and her struggles which made this kind of hard to watch. The ending made me cry and I keep thinking about all the scenes between her and the doll. I really did enjoy this movie a lot but I just feel like it was missing something?? maybe?? I truely dont know why I feel so mixed on it...

HEAT (1995) - ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆

Very bloated movie with lots of interesting character interactions and themes.
I really wanted to like this more but I feel like this did not need to be as full as it is :-( I wasn't gripped by the side characters at all so every time the attention was on them I was just waiting for Neil or Vincent to show up. I loved the ending a lot, seeing Neil abandon a normal life just to die for his work was very impactful. The parallel between Neil and Vincents lives and their loneliness was incredibly interesting and I wish it was given more screen time. Overall I think this was a fine movie, if not a little over hyped.

NIRVANNA THE BAND THE SHOW THE MOVIE (2025) - ★ ★ ★ ★ ½

What a wonderful experience !!! I was smiling almost the whole time, Matt and Jay
remind me a lot of me and my best friend :-) My favorite scene was when Matt was talking
to 2008 Jay and it was like there was nothing different about the situation. The moment Jay realizes how much he values Matt is also so sweet you can see it on his face. I loved this entire thing, the time travel aspect of it was especially funny to me.
